8-6-2022: Glasgow
The hotel in Glasgow had amazing beds. That's why it was pretty painful that breakfast was from 7-8.45. It was worth getting up for though. Like in York there was a lot of choice, we could order and it would be delivered to our table.
At first we had planned to go to The Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery at opening time. But the weather prediction was pretty bad and it was raining cats and dogs at the time we would have left, so we decided to wait an hour (the rain would lessen after an hour). The prediction was correct, so an hour later we left for the museum. It has a lot of different things: from a dino skeleton to medieval things (mostly weapons) and paintings and art. A small impression:
We went to the MacTassos streetfood cart for lunch. I'd read a tip online that their Greek food was absolutely amazing. The tip is 100% valid, because we really enjoyed our lunch there. After our lunch, we walked tot Glasgow University. The buildings were stunning. They really gave Hogwarts vibes.
For dinner, we went to Ox & Finch. We'd wanted to eat there the day before, but they were fully booked. They did have a table available for the next day, so we booked straight away. Their food was absolutely amazing, so we were extremely happy we could book a table. We went to bed early, because we had to catch a train at 8 the next morning (yikes, that's early!).
