Let me introduce myself: I am Nathalie Lauwen, born in 1975 and in 2024 I decided to finally follow my dreams and start my study to become an English teacher. Why now? Things finally alligned (more or less) and I figured that if I wouldn't do it now, I never would. I'm a strong believer of trying to live with no regrets, so I went for it. In September 2024 I started at Windesheim in Zwolle. By now, I can say that I've succesfully finished my first year and that I've received all credits. This first year hasn't been easy, but it has been fun. I've found that I enjoy working with the students at the internship even more than I thought I would, so that tells me I've made the right choice. An important part of the study is the Stay Abroad. The daytime students go abroad for 9 weeks in year 3. As a part-time student, I may 'cut it up' in several trips. The first part, will be a trip I've already made.
